Rain on the Lily

Rain glorious rain. Hopefully there will be more to come.... at least enough to break the drought here in Marlborough. At the same time we feel sorry for those folk in the North Island whose camping holidays have been badly disrupted by the heavy rains.
Nevertheless I have enjoyed watching our garden lap up the welcome rainfall and seeing raindrops on flowers such as on this lovely lily.
I, alas, have spent several hours at the Hospital emergency department today getting some acute lower back-pain sorted. Hopefully my back will now come right and the symptoms not slow me down too much. :-(....
