Sea spray and silhouettes (Day 588)
The weather today has been changeable to say the least. This morning's walk up the hill was chilly, with a blustery breeze. Rain was close, but I made it back to the car before it started. Once home, the rain turned torrential, then to hail and sleet.
We had a lazy morning, then trundled across to Stromness to visit George, Debby and the horses. I had volunteered to walk the dogs whilst my beautiful wife and Luke spent time with George and Debby. It looked to be a poor decision as we drove across in very heavy hail and rain, but as we arrived at the yard, the sun came out and I had a good walk despite the strong wind. The air through Hoy Sound was thick with sea spray glowing in the sunshine.
