Christmas Jumper Day!

I was up early this morning, which meant I saw Brian before he went to work. It is Christmas jumper day nationwide, apparently, and Jewson's got into the spirit of it, so Brian wore this festive little number to work today instead of the usual uniform. I took the opportunity to get my Blip before I'd even had my breakfast!

I have been trying to get a few Christmas related tasks crossed off my list today with a degree of success! Still heaps left to be done of course, but I feel like I have made progress.

This evening we went over to the Arboretum as there was a festive community event in there. (See extra) They had a carol service at the bandstand led by a band from the hospital and a charming Welshman. We joined in with the singing, and after we went to have a look at some reindeer who were also attending the occasion. 

There was food available too, but I hadn't taken my purse. When I got home, I read the pamphlet properly and realised the food was free! Never mind!
