Decorating help!

It snowed last night but it rained much of today so that took care of it.    We did manage a walk (in rain) avoiding some ice streets.  This city is so unprepared for snow the Seattle school district started 2 hours late… the extra is the scene after picking Fi up after school —these kids will play in  any sort of snow..no matter how pitiful  and slushy. (she is in back on the left rolling a big snowball) 

Then we came home to decorate!   Their Dad brought Tatum over after her school so they did the tree, the creche,  the fireplace mantel full of little Swedish figures  (after much play and “races” with them) and more...  I lobbied for a real tree this year but it didn’t happen… It does look a LOT better with ornaments on it.  and THEN some roll out cookies were made (mostly by them) as well,  and the rather hilarious friday night magic show after dinner which we have missed since it’s usually just Fiona now.  I’m truly grateful for all that help!   A little tv on the couch is in order now!! (especially since our son just today brought us his old hand me down tv which is huge compared to what we’ve ever had…).
