Hasta Luego Palma

Packing all done, we headed down to Calle Fabrica, where we'd seen a restaurant we fancied trying but it had been closed when we last tried. I think it was called Jai-Alai and is a Basque restaurant, quite modern and trendy but with a good mix of trendy and traditional food. It turns out it's only been open since March and the owner let us sit at the bar to eat as the kitchen had officially closed. We hesitated a bit, but it was actually comfortable with high backed stools and we were very glad we stayed. There were still people eating at tables. Very nice small peppers stuffed with cod and a kind of romesco sauce and a slow cooked beef cheek stew - melted in the mouth - and, very unusual for a Spanish restaurant, mashed potatoes. We wandered down Passeig Maritimo before heading back to the flat to hand over the keys and pick up our bags and taxi to the airport. Next stop home in Barcelona! Hasta luego Palma!

Have backblipped a few shots and almost caught up...just a few to put on for the last couple of weeks.
