Busman's holiday

Here is my beloved - on the roof of the shed...its been leaking for a while now, so on the first 'official' day of his holiday (i.e. not the weekend) he has been on the shed roof ripping off the old felt and beginning to re-roof. Whoever did it in the first place was a numpty - so the timber is rotten in places - typically therefore, a relatively small job (for Corin!) has turned into a bit of a monster - he's outside now, in the dark and the drizzle, hammering timber and laying the underlay ready for the new felt.


Can't help himself. The christmas holiday seems to be the time when corin decides to work ...

I intend to keep him on outside jobs this christmas as I spent hours cleaning the house last thursday!

Right, must go - got 3 bin bags full of clothes to drop off at the Salvation Army clothes bank. Had a big sort out...clothes that haven't seen the light of day for years are finally going.

Then I will tackle the ironing pile.

Woohoo...life is just one big pot of excitement!
