SUNRISE.

Did not expect to see the sun when I left the house this morning, but low and behold a sunrise appeared, and it was so lovely. I do love the mornings.
The canal is still frozen, but there are a few places where it has melted and to my suprise, the swans were there, I have not seen them for about two months, but they were alone, so the cygnets have flown the nest. Luckily I had brought their food, so they enjoyed that.
I am shattered, as after a four mile walk, I came home had breakfast, then spent two hours in the garden, then down to the care home and from there drove to my friend's house with flowers for her birthday tomorrow. I then took the dogs another short walk as it was overcast but dry and no wind.
I am now going to make my meal, chill out with a small glass of wine. Hope you all had a lovely day.
