"SLIP SLIDING AWAY"

Walked the canal this morning and it was freezing, the poor swan struggled out of a small hole in the ice to come to me for some pellets. The extra is one of the cygnets also stuck in the ice, but it got food also. Only went a couple of miles as the rain came on, although it went off quickly, but by then I was freezing. Spent a couple of hours in the garden cutting back the clematis and of course brushing up more leaves.
It has become very overcast, just hope it does not snow!
Well off now to feed my four legged friends.
