Day 15: Cornwall Mining Landscape

Braved the torrential rain and crosswinds to travel further South. Where has the Summer gone? Headed to Geevor Tin Mine (above) and subsequently to Levant Mine and Beam Engine. Both were enjoyable....but...it was rather damp. It was, however, entertaining/ frightening to see the number of children that thought it was amusing to repeatedly headbutt the wall (albeit wearing hard hats). Evolution eh? Parked the campervan at its new campsite (near Land's End) and headed to the Minack Theatre for a 'steampunk' play. Great views, but unfortunately the play and the weather battled it out as to which would drive me from the theatre first. (The play won).
