Bird's eye
Last pretty much full day in Asia. Mr A had a bit of a wander around in Chinatown in the morning, but I stayed in the hotel. At lunch time we moved, complete with baggage, back to the Fullerton Hotel, where we stayed when we arrived last week, to meet up with a very old friend who was coming in from the airport, as she had a 12 hour lay over.
We morphed between some lunch, then champagne afternoon tea in the Courtyard, and finally out to the airport around 6pm, as L was meeting yet someone else laying over between flights. In the meantime, L and I went to the top of 1-Altitude, affording some amazing views of Singapore from the 63rd floor. As the viewing platform is open air, that means that you can get much better untinted pictures. I chose this one for my blip, as it shows the Padang, the Swissotel tower and the Museum of Asian Civilisations, where we were yesterday, as well as the Singapore River. I added a couple of extras, and also a picture of L and S enjoying afternoon tea.
