Farewell Langkawi

We left Langkawi early this morning, and I took this picture along the way - asking the taxi driver to stop for a few minutes. Our flight into Singapore was broadly on time, and we were dropping our luggage off at the hotel before 12 noon. After that, we wandered over to the Asian Civilisations Museum to see the exhibition on Port Cities (highly recommended), and to pick up a bit of lunch, before we whiled away the afternoon in the hotel room. It started raining around 5pm, which effectively rearranged our early evening drinks plans, although we did get a very pricey drink on the 70th floor of the Swissotel (see extra - although you'll have to excuse the rain on the outside of the window, and of course the tinting of the windows). Thereafter, we went with L for dinner, and then to his flat. I was very jealous when he dived in the swimming pool....
