Dark clouds

Back blip
Travelled down to the Lakes today and stopped in Broughton for a picnic lunch. It had been lovely and sunny but these clouds were gathering out to the east. Shortly after there was a rainbow (see extra) but we avoided any rain until we were almost in England - and then it just kept on.
We were staying in a small cottage in Matterdale End, up a very steep hill, and it was very quite, but no free internet access. On arrival Mr Rat went for a short run and I went for a walk down the hill and back to give the legs a stretch, then a lazy evening.
