Today we re-visited some of the areas of Portland where our guide took us on Saturday. We had a leisurely stroll and enjoyed the fine weather and glorious scenery. We saw lots of Kestrels, Stonechats, Ravens, Buzzards, Rock Pipits and Red Admiral butterflies. One of the most surprising sightings was jus by the bird observatory where we saw several Chiffchaffs in the ivy-clad bushes. This one had been ringed, very possibly at the observatory.
