Diary of an Edinburgher

Autumn

A blissful sleep, on my side, something I haven't been able to do for ages. Annemique came to take Archie out for the day - she always seems to have good weather, but today was exceptional. This is one of the shots she sent us - Archie looking back to admire the lovely autumn scene. JR is very chuffed to see her shot yesterday was given 9 favourites!

I had fresh fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, toasted bagel and avocado for lunch, and we shared the most delicious M&S Thai Chicken curry for tea! Yum yum. I feel better already.

In the afternoon, JR popped out to get some essentials, while I nipped -no, not nipped - tottered back to bed. It's so comfy there, and anyway, I didn't want to have my first shower with nobody in the house, in case I had a dizzy spell. I had a nice sideways snooze.

It was good to have my first shower in a week! My pal Salwa popped round to visit, and we compared hospital stories. We've all heard them, and some of us are unlucky enough to experience them. I did not go into the full details in my blips, but my recent visit was pretty bad, and I will be making an official complaint, for what good it does...
