Trick and Treat

It was a beautiful day so it was no hardship to getting out to check access for a Fungi meeting on Wednesday. It was really about checking the roads were open as there has been a few closures recently. I popped into one of my favourite sites on the way back, and as usual, there was no shortage of Fungal delights in the Autumn sunshine. This is a Shaggy Scalycap cluster (Pholiota squarrosa). The extra is a Beechwood Sickener, Russula nobilis.
