Bare bones.
That is what this tree always reminds me of. I have blipped it before from the road but I thought it looked good against the autumn foliage on this morning's walk through Low Park, below the St Ives Estate. You also pass the wonderful specimen Beech tree which I also photographed but you can see a splendid picture of it on Wendy's World today taken a little later when the sun had decided to shine.

We walked up into the woods and along Altar Lane at the top of the estate before crossing the road onto Harden Moor.
It was an odd morning; cloudy and drizzly but with the sun trying to get through. It was a good 2 hour walk before a quick trip to the GP for a blood test and then Pilates.
After all that excercise it's time to meet friends in the pub.
