Brizzle

A much sunnier day than predicted here in Bristol and here we are walking past some street art on Park Row before going down the Christmas Steps to the shops.

This is near some of the university buildings and is next to a Victorian Gentleman's toilet which is also used as a small art gallery but unfortunately it was closed today!

Grace had an early appointment in Redland so walking down here was a blast from the past as it was our regular route when she and John had a flat at the top of White Ladies Rd. Lots of nice shops and eating places en route and we were tempted in to Wahaca (should be Oaxaca but pronounced Wah) this is a great Mexican eatery started by the lady who won Masterchef a year or two ago and it was excellent.
They were decorated for the Day of the Dead Festival at Halloween a big thing in Mexico - Dia del Muertos.

We had a bit of shopping to do as Grace had a bridesmaid dress to pick up amongst other things and we did have to stop for a reviving cocktail at one point!

A typical full and fun day in Bristol with lots to eat and drink!
