In office alone

Rather than "home alone".

This is what happens when you leave the kids to their own devices in the office. I was attending a meeting downstairs while these two were playing beauty salon and L had said something about facepaint and I had assumed she meant using make-up for that. Well, I was wrong, they mainly used nail polish also for facepaint. I think I have to buy proper facepaint very soon! The varnish came off with remover and the cheeks are still a bit red, no damage done.

I am near the end of my tether, the holidays and the stress therein are taking their toll. I'm exhausted and tired and extremely short tempered. I need a proper holiday now. Let's hope that getting back into a school routine will fix things.
