Beginning

Back at work, a full week after three week's holidays. Our childminder moved away so the kids had to come with me, suffice to say that work wasn't properly possible. This experiment failed. The closing ceremony only kept them entertained for a short while, then it was a lot of complaining and luckily in the end quite a few art projects. Tomorrow we'll do it better.
Spoke to my father for the first time since everything happened and I'm glad my mum told me about his changed voice. Having had a tube down his throat for a long time in intensive care obviously took its toll. He is now on the slow road to recovery but he/we will need a lot of patience to continue. I will see him in September and am looking forward to that.
