Moody Cows

It was a very rough night - weather was awful what with the wind howling and the rain lashing at the caravan which kept me awake for what seemed like most of the night. I had to get up several times to check that the awning was still attached and hadn't blown away into the next County - and then there was my poorly knee which throbbed like mad but I'm glad to say is feeling and looking much better this morning.

After the thrills and spills of yesterday and a very disturbed night we've had a very restful day interspersed with a super Sunday Lunch at The Bulls Head, Monyash where we saw these 'Moody Cows' beautifully painted by local Artist, 'Lynne Wilkinson'. There was a party of 8 having lunch at the table next to us and one of the guys purchased one of Ms Wilkinson's paintings depicting 4 Moody Cows as he said he lived in a household full of lovely moody cows - he had 3 daughters and their Mother! Miss W paints lovely Hares too but we resisted a purchase.

The weather has been bright and sunny but still a tad windy and there was a stunning sunset this evening.
