Again windenergy

It looks as if windenergy is trending topic this week. Yesterday, the heavy lift vessel Anne-Sofie discharged three very heavy foundation piles. I thought they were suction anchors/piles, but they appeared to be foundation piles for offshore windturbines. The Russian cranevessel Oleg Strashnov (click here for the specs) moored this morning at the same quay where the Anne-Sofie discharged her cargo. The crane vessel took three piles on board again and will leave shortly for a windfarm area offshore England or Holland. It won't take long before it will be impossible to see the beach from sea.
