Middelburg Town Hall

In 2007 a contest was held about the most beautiful building in the Netherlands and the townhall of Middelburg ended on a second place. And not without a reason because it is a beautiful building.
Construction started in 1452 and it was heavily damaged during a German bombing raid in the second world war. Restauration took decades, but the result is absolutely stunning, not only outside but also inside.
