They Are Fast

Rabbit, Fish and Pirates.

Our cabin steward - Volter - every so often leaves one of our towels folded into a shape.
Today it was a rabbit.

The weather was fantastic today so it was impossible to get a lounger on the sundeck (or anywhere for that matter) so I stood on our balcony and looked at the sea.
I then spent ages trying to get a half decent shot of the flying fish that were trying to get out of he way of the ship.
They are fast.
They are also quite small and I was 10 decks above water with a lens that was too small.
15 seconds was the longest I counted for one of them being airborne - and that takes them a long way I can tell you.
They seem to use the breeze just above the waves to keep them aloft - helped occationally by the rapid beating of their elongated lower tail fin into the water if needed.

Tonight there was a superb comedian on stage (who is also a damn fine singer) who picked on several people (including me and SWMBO - and a Brazilian waitress who let slip that Yes she does.............) during the course of the show and then used the information/mickey taking in aa rap song at the end.............superb.

There was a ?Pirates? themed party on deck tonight where the Captain and his officers once again showed that they were willing to get involved and make fools of themselves.
