Diary of an Edinburgher

Home again

Gosh it was good to get into my own bed last night! Though it only felt like only minutes till it was morning.

Archie came back about 10am - strolling in with his usual cursory greeting for us - 'Huh - you're back!', while Christine filled us in on his (and her) disturbed night. He was sick and had diarrhoea a couple of times. Fortunately, he's so well mannered, that he asked to get out each time.

Annemique came to collect him at 10.30, and SHE got the full Archie welcome! She took him to Porty beach for the day. We warned her about his sickness, and though he ran about as usual at the beach, not a care in the world, when he got back to her flat, he was sick. Poor lad. He lay down on my lap and didn't even get up to see Annemique away - most unusual.

We've had a very relaxed day, doing nothing. And now we're all going to have a relaxed evening. Archie will have a little meal of chicken and rice tonight to settle his wee stomach. Hopefully he doesn't need out in the night.
