We all went out for a long leisurely lunch in a local restaurant. The food was superb and, being in France, I just had to try the snails - delicious! My dessert was a chocolate cigar served in a cigar box, see extra.

The rest of the UK contingent then had to get to the airport and my sister was providing a taxi service so I was on my own. I went for a short walk around the village.
