Cinderella

.... shall dance in the festival. Took her to buy the second and third pairs of satins that she needs for the competition today. I've done her silver duet ones. We bought her pinks for her ballet and the whites that get dyed hot pink for her song and dance. These ones were quite expensive but I was really pleased with the service and the fit that we ended up with so I actually came away happy with the price.

It's her principals 60th birthday today so we made some manuscript paper roses for her and joined the queue of people showering this lovely lady with treats today. The staff enjoyed a treat glass of champagne at break time too, yum!

After class we drove to Brid. We haven't tried the new leisure centre yet but we had a great time. I am not sure the pool is that much better than it was previously, although the kiddies area is great. We met some friends there and had a fab time. I used to look after Hannah and then Sam is four weeks older than Katie so it's really nice that they click. Katie and Sam had a brilliant time together, wrestling in the water. We were also meeting them as their daddy had been the videographer for Katie's last ballet show so we had been tasked with collecting all the DVDs.

We had to rush back as it's youth club nigh. One of her ballet friends has started coming, which of course she loves, but she was a rather tired little girly tonight. We stopped for chippies on the way home and had a bit of a late night watching all her bits in the show DVD. It's the first year we've had one and it's a very precious memory. I didn't actually get to see any of her dances in their entirety either so I loved seeing it too.
