Dunlin

A gorgeous Dunlin, having a feather shake after a full preen. A very beautiful little shoreline bird, that I love watching, usually very active, digging that bill into the seaweed and mud looking for crustaceans and worms. The extra is a photograph of the Desert we drove through, it's called Wahiba sands and has this beautiful orangey, pink fine sand. The camels are the only big animals you see, but once upon a time there were also Oryx.
