Dunlin(Calidris alpina)
This bird is apparently widespread and common on all European shores & one of the most numerous here in the Middle East. This lovely bird is still sporting his Summer plumage and I know my identification is right this time as a field mark is a bill that only curves down at the tip. The warnings are starting to flag up for a possible Tropical Cyclone developing about 1,200km away in the Arabian sea, this may or not effect up in about 3-4 days time. I hope it will bring rain but no damage and hopefully it won't affect my birds! They would definitely appreciate the cooler weather it may bring. I love this little birds 'teddy boy' hair do by the way.
