Chips

Turns out I'm better at poker than I used to be. Or perhaps I've just found a good level of players... Later, I had all the chips. TallGirl did an incredible bluff, but made the mistake of telling us it had been a bluff, so she won no more. Mr B has the tell-ing-est face possible "is that your 'I'm trying to decide whether I can bluff you when all I have is 2 2s' face?" "Err, yes."

During all this, a rather yummy lamb tagine practically made itself. And then we ate far too much and will have indigestion all night.

CarbBoy found all the bits of the snakeskin I spotted in the garden earlier this week (probably tomorrow's blip) and TallGirl was righter than anyone in matters of English word usage.

Now an early night, and another weekend has sped by.
