Little Dipper

Had a lovely day out today - went to Lynmouth where we saw this gorgeous little dipper doing what dippers do in the river Lyn.  I have to admit to having lens envy today - a fellow on the other side of the river had a lens that must have been at least two feet long with a huge hood there on  so suspect he could see the individual hairs on the feathers..... After coffee here we went to Watersmeet to enjoy the waterfall before going on to the moor where we found a herd of deer (extras) which was magical.  The stag was enjoying showing off to his herd rushing hither and thither and roaring!  A great day all in all..... but I do need a bigger lens for this sort of shot!  I wonder if Father Christmas is listening?!
