Rosemoor - Wood cutter Artist

Popped down to Rosemoor this afternoon with blipper Terrifo. During the stroll we came across this gent who was advertising Stihl tools - by carving  trunks that had been taken off one of the trees.  He'd already made a pumpkin and another floral item and had started on this.....it soon became evident that it was going to be an owl. Sadly he was working behind a net to stop onlookers getting showered with his chippings but it was wonderful to watch him work, started with a big chain saw, then a slightly smaller one and then a small one for detail... Amazing. So glad we went today!
