Three Doors

Through September the feeling was that we hovered between summer and autumn. That started to change as we moved into October and now the feeling is autumn/winter.
As part of preparation for winter we got out the inner doors (see HarlingDarling's blip) from storage and put them into place. There is a slight feeling of an airlock as you enter our house but there is also a noticeable difference in temperature once they are in place.
Most of the garden furniture is now away, the water butts are emptied, and the garden tools are in the "wood-shed / barn / dumping ground" as Harling Darling called it in her blip.
The extra shows our "Blue Hour" because we went for a late walk today after clearing and tidying the barn. The sun had set a while back and the blue hour was very evident.   Folks indoors felt it was dark and had turned on their lights.
The ducks haven't flown yet but they'll soon be on their way.
