Not much of that in the UK. Ghastly news from the Conservative Party conference today.

Back home on Friday, via a Ryanair flight which was landed so clumsily, possibly by someone on work experience, that the traditional Ryanair fanfare after the tyre-squealing turn at the end of the runway was accompanied by sarcastic clapping. Mystère was delighted to see me and instantly leapt onto my lap -- having steadfastly refused to sit on S's all week, even after he'd been given all sorts of lovely treats. Then I had a quiet weekend at home while S went yomping in the mountains. The weather is still splendid -- 25C and sunny.
