Scaffolding? Who needs it?

These painters were simply abseiling down the wall. See also. We spotted this on the way back from our investigation of the French social club in Almuñecar. We'd missed out on the Salobreña International Club's trip to the Caminito del Rey (fully booked), so when we arrived we were pleased to discover that the French club was doing one too, and had difficulty finding enough takers. We promptly signed up, and the knockdown price (28 euros a person including the bus there and back) made the modest 12 euro joining fee more than worthwhile. After the meeting there were, of course aperos. And we've also signed up for a wine tasting on Thursday.

In the afternoon S went walking and I nursed an incipient cold on the terrace; goodness knows where that came from. And after a stroll into town for an apero we are preparing for a barbie on the terrace.
