LENGTHENING SHADOWS
Tired today - a combination of hay fever and heat. Should have got up earlier and worked while it was cooler. I pottered in the shady end of the garden, but even there is was too hot to work for long.
Took an evening outing looking for images of the lengthening shadows. As we say around here, 'The nights are fair drawin' in.' Nothing shadowise worked, but while I was leaning over a hedge observing the landscape, I got this feeling I was being watched and turned to see this handsome chap (chapess?) all bronze in the evening light.
