INSPIRATION
To Edinburgh today to meet my niece and go to the Fringe (the Olympics aren't the only thing going on this week). I planned to photograph some weird Festival stuff (trust me, there was some weird and wonderful stuff going on) but I was too busy listening and gabbing and found myself back in Glasgow before I remembered to blip. So here is a poor wee shot of Buchanan Street.
I am loath to comment on the Olympics as I don't have a sporting gene in my body and because so many are saying so much from more informed positions. But as it draws mercifully to a close, I do have some questions about the tagline... but enough of my grumps.
THREE PEOPLE WHO INSPIRED:
Liz Lochead - her acute observation of humanity
Marilynne Robinson -her novel Gilead that I read on the train
Timelapse's skill and courage
