Where journeys begin ...

No matter whether I'm going to Partick or Provence, this is where the journey starts- the Western Ferries terminal at Hunter's Quay. Only very occasionally do I use the Argyll Ferries crossing, and then only on a calm day when urgency is not a concern.

Today is grey and gurly and the sea is showing white horses. When the cars are loaded the vessel will rotate and make the crossing backwards. Windscreens will be safe. A crossing to make and forget...
