Red Admiral and More please

We've walked along the Kennet and Avon Canal today from Newbury to Kintbury and then caught the train back to Newbury.  Murphy has never been on a train before and he was absolutely fine.

That was another 6 miles.

There were lots of Red Admiral butterflies on the ivy berries. 

The additional photo is of the swans and ducks following me as I was feeding them the dried duck food that I try to always have with me.

We've been out to dinner tonight with good friends and in contrast to the weather today it is now thundering.

We had planned to go to London on Friday but as the weather forecast is for rain we are going to somewhere where we hope that it will be dry.
