Wool winding . . .

Lovely Peruvian wool, so soft and a joy to work with, but it comes in hanks rather than balls, so needs to be wound up before you can start knitting it.  Mike was at work, so I improvised with the rocky chair arms!  

The chair was one of the first pieces of furniture that my parents bought when they got married, more than 60 years ago, and it's still in daily use and really comfy.
