Love in a Mist

A lovely name for a flower, and a lovely flower too, bravely standing up to all the gales.  It's proper name is Nigella damascena and it's otherwise known as Devil in the Bush or Ragged Lady - take your pick!

It's snuggled in next to the sweet peas and eschscholzia (California poppies) and they are all sheltering each other!  

A day of planting bulbs, picking yet more broad beans and lifting tatties.  I did help Mike launch the dinghy, but it was too windy to venture out to Peridot at the mooring, so ten minutes later I helped him haul it back up the slip out again!  That's why reliable shore support staff is so important - ready for all eventualities!
