Granfondo Epic 2016 80k bike ride

We had a gorgeous day for the Granfondo ride. The furthest distance was 165k and shortest was 50k. The 4 of us (3 blonde ladies & 1 brunette fellow) had such a great time on the 80k. Rolling hills and countryside with perfectly blue skies & 23 degrees made for one awesome day. The Epic Ride included a band, BBQ picnic and big field of kiosks, businesses and farmer market shopping. I left the house @ 7:30 in the morning and didnt arrive home until 4:30 - having put in a full days work sitting on a bike (just over 4 hours actually in the saddle). Luckily there were great rest/food stops which we totally took advantage of. The final hill dubbed 'Gorilla Hill' (hence the photo with the huge inflated gorilla) nearly did us in, many of us walked half of it. Notice the 'shup up legs' signs, so very appropriate.
