Still
After a morning of successful fixing, the afternoon was spent riddling under the beech tree. It involves taking the compacted earth and separating it out to gravel, well rotted horse manure and matted tree roots. Slowly, a neglected piece of waste ground is being removed and converted to two neat piles of compost and gravel and some bags destined for the dump. In a strange way, I'm finding the task hugely satisfying. Weird.
There was a very significant wind blowing when it came to blip time. Trees trying to get horizontal and. alas, the sunflowers have given up.
Ellen's sculpture stayed still.
