Homespun Charms

Seeing eye to eye.

A busy day and fine weather! Spent the morning in Oxfam and doing my best to boost sales with some personal shopping. As the morning got warmer so the shop became busier.
A trip up to Northallerton and the return journey home via the 'wiggly' lane was quite adventurous. The 'Road Closed Ahead' signs werre ignored by me and two following drivers. We've seen this before and the alternative meant a lot of back tracking. The large puddle ahead was easily negotiated and so was the second one. The third was more daunting so after some manoevering, car driver number 3 gave it his best shot and made it. Then I went through and after thumbs up signs the last car followed. There was an alarming tidal wave and I wasn't relishing the prospect of wading in if the car got stuck. He made it! Moral of the tale, never leave the camera at home!
What to Blip? Trip into the garden revealed Bella (who has almost moved in) hiding in the grass by the pond. I liked the way she peeped through the grass - camouflaged? I don't think so!
