Horwich

The Minx's mum invited us out for dinner, this evening, along with the miniMinx. I'm not sure who chose the venue but we went to a tapas restaurant that Minx and I visited a while back.

It's a curious place; instead of bar stools, there are chairs, so your chin is at the same level as the bar, and the maître d is quite charmless, plus they're removed the lovely little wooden booths that we enjoyed last time we were here. 

All that said, the food is superb. We ordered a load of dishes, and enjoyed every one of them. 

I took this photo at the end of the road where we'd parked the car, as the town abruptly gives way to the countryside.
