Speckled Wood

.......enjoying the beautiful sunshine. I have seen lots of these butterflies this year but rarely in this pose........they nearly always have their wings spread open when I see them......nice of him to show me what the other side looks like :-)

Plus a pretty but somewhat depressing extra, seen on the edge of a small copse......rather too autumnal for my liking :-/
