The Great British Countryside!

Managed a day out today. We'd had this Bank Holiday walk planned for a while. It was a chance to enjoy a walk with friends. And lucky for us the weather was just right for walking.

The route we'd chosen was one we did over a year ago on an Easter Bank Holiday Sunday. Just perfect to enjoy the scenery without the crowds.

This view was taken on the ascent up to the highest point of the walk - Mere Hill.

The end of the walk found us relaxing in the sunshine having a drink at The George in Alstonfield....
