Lying in Wait......

I spent some time with my other older relative today - my Aunt. She's 85 and hasn't been too well recently. So it was nice to take her out for lunch.

When I got back home, my other half was having a relaxing day. That meant he'd cut the lawn and was halfway through attacking the hedge! I'm not sure that's quite what I thought he'd be doing, but it's one less domestic chore to do.

He'd spotted a garden spider for me to photograph. What was rather amazing was the anchor threads for it's web. They were several feet up in the air, attached to the fir tree we have in the garden! It looked like a cable car wire for spiders.

Go large if you dare! You can almost count every hair......
