This is Pewter Bee

It is a certain person's birthday today.

A working day for both of us, but despite the pouring rain - a fun evening.

A little present. Ella Macintosh of "This Is Pewter", who made this, was showing me how it was made on Saturday. She uses a mould carved in a cuttlefish shell (see extra - she is preparing for Christmas). She has won first place in a competition run by the Worshipful Company of Pewterers this year, well done her.

This will be disqualified from YouOregon's Thursday abstract challenge as it is not really an abstract, but like the Russians - I'll take the risk.
