Stowe Landscape Gardens

A morning doing practical things that need doing after you've been away but I only have a couple more days at Mum's, so we wanted to make the most of the afternoon, even if it was largely overcast. We both enjoy visiting the gardens at Stowe, which is a public school (what a place to study!) but the surrounding land belongs to the National Trust. So it was a stroll beside the lake, admiring this magnificent bridge then up through the gardens to the house, before taking advantage of a buggy ride back towards the entrance! Lovely!
