Topsy Turvey

So much work going on around London. So much money being spent. It's our Olympic year and so much goodwill flying around. Hopefully a big boost to the economy.

But travelling into London, no problem. Not the crowds I was expecting, not the packed trains we were warned about. Not the tourists spending their fortunes in our retail stores.

B still working all the hours god sends. Reduced staffing. No paid overtime. Plenty worked. Maybe the NHS should be applying for Lottery Funds? Perhaps they have?

And yet, National pride burns inside of us all.
Let's hope it stays, when we're cleaning it all up.
